Croesyceiliog Vs. Tredegar Town
Welsh League Division 2
12th December 2009
Woodland Road, Croesyceilog. 14:00 Kick Off
Croesy will return to league action this week when they start a run of 7 home games and 1 away game in the league. Thus far Croesy have had just 2 home league games this season and 7 away so this run of fixtures will restore that balance by Mid-February.

The visitors, Tredegar Town, have made a decent start to their Division 2 season thus far, securing several good results along the way. However, they have secured only one win in their last 6 league games and two draws which has brought them back down into the middle of the table whereas just a few weeks ago they were a win away from the promotion places. They will certainly be looking to get their push for success back on track at Woodland Road.

Croesy will unfortunately have to wait a week longer to welcome back top scorer Jody Jenkins who has missed the last four games through suspension, and then a family holiday. Jenkins had been in fine form prior to his enforced break with 13 goals in 12 games in all competitions. Jenkins is away on the weekend and so will return for the home game with Newport YMCA on the 19th. Rhys Nadin remains on the sidelines with his knee injury.

Daniel Clouth and Gareth Pattimore, who were both unavailable for the win at Llangeinor, will return to contention for this game. Michael Brooks' hamstring injury is also expected to be recovered so that Brooks can be considered for selection.

New signing, Gareth Davies, is in contention for a place in the squad after completing his move from Maesteg Park this week.

With some good performances from some players who were given an opportunity last weekend at Llangeinor coupled with the return of four important players will certainly give the Manager a selection headache ahead of the fixture.

Croesy's squad for the fixture will be selected from the following: -

Jonathan Chorley, James Peckham, Mark Morris, Rhys Carr, Paul Brown, Huw Williams, Daniel Clouth, Richard Perry, Gareth Davies, Anthony Southard, Gareth Pattimore, Calum Miles, Gareth Wilmott, Ricky Coff, Nick McGrath, Ryan Fahey, Zac Osbourne, Michael Brooks & Daniel Mais.
